Change of Name
Definition:
Sometimes, owners of trademark applications and registrations change their names, even though the actual ownership of the application or registration has not been transferred.
Filing Receipt
Definition:
Applicants who file paper applications receive printed filing receipts that list the application serial number and filing date, the mark, the applicant's name, the goods and/or services, the filing bases, if available; the international class(es).
Trademark Deposit Account
Definition:
An account that is established in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), upon payment of a fee for establishing such an account, for the convenience in paying any fees due, in ordering services offered by the USPTO, copies of records, etc.
